Hassle-free piping and decorating.

serves:

Lose the bubbles

Method:

Often, when using a piping bag for decoration, your flow will not be consistent. The only reason why this is the case is that air-bubbles flow through your liquid, causing your mass flow to lose consistency. How do we avoid this:

1. Process the mass you want to disperse using the piping bag (e.g. chocolate mousse, whipped cream, etc).

2. Prior to filling the piping bag, simply beat the mass with the bowl on the tabletop a few times. Air-bubbles will be crushed in the mass.

3. Now, using a spatula, fill up your piping bag.

4. Squeeze out any air from the back prior to closing the bag, then give it a short yet powerful squirt so any air that formed in front is also removed.

5. Then, only apply pressure from the back to push forward your mass in the piping bag.

Your mass will flow evenly and without any stutter.
