serves:

Subtle flavors

Method:

Often it can be nice to make your own perfumed olive oils. They can be an easy way to add a subtle flavor to any dish. How this is done:

1. Make sure you have a bottle at your disposal that can be fully sealed. Empty white glass bottles and corks may be the best solution for this.

2. Put your aromatic ingredients in the bottle. This can be one of the following products:

           a. Garlic cloves

           b. Onion

            c. Fresh thyme

           d. Fresh rosemary

            e. Lemon peels

             f. Chili peppers

           g. …

3. Now, top off the bottle with olive oil and seal the bottle.

4. Store for at least three weeks prior to using.

5. You can opt to combine aromatic ingredients.

6. You can always add some oil after initial use to keep the aroma’s going.

7. Do label your oil and date it. It will expire after 6 months.
