Ingredients:

Butter

Baking chocolate

Eggs, well beaten

All-purpose flour

Double-acting baking powder

Salt

Vanilla extract

Walnuts, chopped (optional)

Brown sugar

Method:

Melt butter and chocolate in top of double boiler. Cool slightly. Beat in remaining ingredients by hand. Pour into greased an 8 inch x 12 inch pan. Bake at 170°C  until set, or about 30 minutes.
